Okay guys... as I promised here's my first progress report on the Mad Tea Party attraction. I thought it would be easier to begin with the cups. But I had no idea. Here are two pictures of my first trial and error by using MilkShape. It didn't remind me of the famous tea cups. The design was rather angulare shaped.
Then I found the great Blender software, and started from scratch. This time I had more patience. I've tried to come very close to the actual tea cup design. I took photos of the different versions of the attraction, and create a kind of blue print by using Adobe Illustrator 10. This helped a lot. I was able to get the proportions right. Well, the cups don't look awesome by now, but after all I'm an absolute 3D beginner. I'm pretty sure that I'll become more skilled.
